We had No Place Like Home come out to perform a pre-drywall inspection. It was incredibly easy to set up an appointment time. The inspector came out on time and had the inspection report to us incredibly fast. The inspection was thorough and helped us get some items corrected. We used No Place Like Home Inspections and were so pleased with the professionalism and service we received from their team. Our inspector, Matt Elks, was a pleasure to work with! Matt was knowledgeable and thorough and answered many questions we had about construction requirements and maintenance practices in NC. When he finished the inspection, Matt discussed some concerns we had and showed us photos and a video of some things we'd want to consider for immediate action. The final report was FANTASTIC and we received it the day after the inspection! The report contained many photos and thorough explanations of not only what was observed, but the corrective actions for those issues. There were even maintenance recommendations. In our opinion, a positive feature of the report software was the ability to use it to download a summary, which made it easy to quickly find the list of issues noted in the full report. We are very pleased with the speedy communication we experienced with all members of the NPLHI team and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a thorough, professional inspection.

Very good and detailed inspection!

No Place Like Home inspected the house we put an offer on. They arrived on time, did a thorough inspection and provided the report in record time. I was impressed with all the information they found and put in the report. They explained everything to me in terms that I understood and made great recommendations. The report showed all the items and the urgency in which they should be repaired/replaced. I would recommend them to family and friends.

No Place Like Home Inspection was very detailed and caught all the issues that are generally not mentioned. The report contained pictures of all the areas of home. The aerial view pictures of the roof were amazing with issues marked in red. The inspector immediately called after inspection and did a video walkthrough and explained all the issues. Highly recommended. Service was exception and price was very impressive in 2024. I have paid more that double in 2012 to other home inspection companies.
